This christening dress has taken over a year of working off and on to create and is a true labour of love. The full skirt is a true full pleated circle when set out
The hat is an exceptional and pleasant way to create a bonnet that looks both vintage and very modern,....the self gathers of lace at the front and the ruffle on the top set if off beautifully.
Dedicated to sharing from the heart, that which is made with the hands and considered a true gift from heaven.

Crochet from Past Challenges

This little Irish doll was crocheted and given to a young lady who is dealing with cancer treatment and was a true labour of love. It was my first Annie's Attic Bed Doll. More pictures below.

After many years of not crocheting I chose to tackle this doily designed on line as a mystery and a challenge and it opened a new world of crochet for me. This one is in the home of my mother-in-law in Cape Breton.

completed and taken to my daughter's home in New Brunswick.

I must admit that the pattern is very simple until you get to the pineapples and then you have to watch each row, but the ravelling and re=crocheting were well worth the effort, this is my favourite by far. It will be lined with an antique wwhite slip. Both of the gowns on this blog are true labours of love as the time involved is starting from one ball of thread to completion.
